I spent seven days in New York in 2023. It wasn’t a trip — it was a dive.
It’s a city that leaves no room for silence, yet demands you to look more closely.
I photographed in a rush and at ease. I went high, walked low. Crossed bridges, streets, and reflections.
I didn’t try to capture everything. I tried to frame what made me stop — in the middle of speed, in the middle of everyone.
These images are more than memories: they’re my attempt to translate how it felt to stand still in a place where the whole world seems to be at once.
Estive sete dias em Nova Iorque em 2023. Não foi uma viagem — foi um mergulho.
É uma cidade que não deixa espaço para o silêncio, mas que te obriga a olhar com mais atenção.
Fotografei com pressa e com calma. Subi ao alto, caminhei rente ao chão. Atravessei pontes, ruas, reflexos.
Não tentei capturar tudo. Tentei capturar aquilo que me fez parar — no meio da velocidade, no meio da multidão.
Estas imagens são mais do que uma memória: são uma tentativa de traduzir o que senti num lugar onde o mundo inteiro parece estar ao mesmo tempo.
