In this series, I explore the quiet language of contemporary architecture in Lisbon — structures that breathe geometry, light and shadow, without rushing.
Most of the images were captured around noon, when the sun is at its harshest and the light at its most honest. It’s in that direct contrast, unfiltered and raw, that I find what I seek: order, texture and proportion.
The tones of light blue and beige — always present — are the colors I feel at home with. Not because they’re neutral, but because they’re calm. Shooting under a clear sky is an aesthetic choice, but also a way of creating silence: nothing interferes with form, nothing distracts from what matters.
These are photos of real places, but more than that, they reflect a state of mind — contemplative, introverted, detail-focused.
Nesta série, procuro a linguagem silenciosa da arquitetura contemporânea em Lisboa — estruturas que respiram geometria, luz e sombra, sem pressa.
A maioria das imagens foi captada ao meio-dia, quando o sol é mais duro e a luz mais honesta. É nesse contraste direto, sem filtros, que encontro aquilo que procuro: ordem, textura e proporção.
As tonalidades azul claro e beige — sempre presentes — são as cores com que me sinto em casa. Não por serem neutras, mas por serem calmas. Fotografar com céu limpo é uma escolha estética, mas também uma forma de silêncio: nada interfere com a forma, nada distrai do essencial.
São fotografias de espaços reais, mas mais do que isso, são reflexos de um certo estado de espírito — contemplativo, introvertido, atento ao detalhe.
